Cupán Tae

Retro is not enough when we need to define this little place in Quay Lane. It is more than the obvious look into the past so fashionable lately, every detail has a reason to be and makes part of a whole, from the small tables at the front door, to the plants in the teapots or the decorated little napkins.

In Cupán Tae you can feel like a character in Alice in Wonderland; you can discover yourself holding your china cup very carefully not to break it, not to scratch it, not even leaving that drop of tea fall down to the saucer and get your lovely cup dirty.

But the nice appearance is only visible when you are waiting for your tea or coffee and your cake (you will want some cake!). When it arrives, you just forget about the flowers on the cup, of the objects on the walls you will be only focus on the flavour. Besides, they prepare gluten free cakes and cupcakes.

You can check the Speciality Teas they offer in their Website

They also serve breakfast and, although they look tasty (see pictures below) I have to be honest… I didn’t try any yet.

Cupán Tea is open from 10 to 17 pm Mon-Thu and 10-18 pm Fri-Sun
