Bits and Bobs

There’s so much going on in Spring and Summer in Galway that we can’t either focus our reviews in one thing only and miss the rest or write a huge review about every event.

So sometimes you’ll find a little melting pot which gathers all that we find interesting and worth to see or visit. That’s not an easy job to do, as nothing is lacking any interest from our point of view.

This week, some of the cultural events we found around the city…choose the one you like most!

Get Inspired

Not everything you can do in your leisure time costs money. There are plenty of exhibitions every now and then in the city and you can have a look completely for free.

This week opens a new photography exhibition called INSPIRED and it features a wide range of beautiful and original pictures taken by amateur artists whom started the VTOS course and now they’re qualified at FETAC level 5.

Some of these new photographers moved on to 3rd level while others are currently working or have started their own businesses. Well done!

Enjoy the photos and help promoting the new photographers.
Organizers: VTOS Adult Education Center, Merchants Road.
Galway City Centre Library

From Thursday April 11.
