More fast food: Boojum Galway

Has everybody already been to Boojum? So it seems.

After the opening a few weeks ago with Mexican music and dancers, everybody is talking about the new blue restaurant in The Spanish Parade.

But, after being twice there (I know, twice!), let me tell you, it is another way of fast food, only not Kentucky chicken style or New York hot dog style, but from the Texan tradition of the tex-mex recipes. It is very tasty, ingredients look fresh and yummy but if you were expecting (as I was) mexican food (meaning complex recipes from Mexico), you can be kind of dissapointed.

Only burritos, tacos, nachos or fajitas with several options for filling (and quite good guacamole) and a selection of beer at a GREAT price.┬áDon’t get me wrong, I liked it, I just expected something different.

Give it a try and keep in mind they close at 21 h. You can also take your food away.

Great slogan and logo, by the way.
