The opening night is tomorrow and still, there are some tickets available!!

This is going to be the 59th edition of the Oyster Festival here in Galway, maybe not so famous as the one in Clarenbridge but a great oportunity to enjoy this fancy seafood in the Irish way: with a pint of Guinness. If your stomach is not used to oysters there may be something else for you because some of the best restaurants in Galway are preparing their best menus for the weekend. Some of the restaurants are: Artisan Restaurant, Brasserie on the Corner, Cava Bodega, Cookes Restaurant, Martine’s of Quay Street, RAW Sushi Restaurant, Oscar’s Seafood Bistro.

Saturday night is time for the OYSTER MASQUERADE ‘MARDI GRAS‘ EXTRAVAGANZA but it is already sold out (with tickets at 95 euros it has to be a fantastic party!!) Maybe for next year?? We will start a piggy bank to pay for the ticket, the mask and the cloak
